AI extraction

AI that reads text and fills in the fields you already use. Every value must come from the original text, so nothing invented reaches your records.

Most “AI features” are a text box. The useful version takes a clinical note, an inbox message, or a PDF and returns problems, medications, or a queue. Nothing else.

I put a schema in front of Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini. If the model invents a field, the parser drops it. If a value has no source in the text, it is not stored.

The API is the product. Your screens call it. They do not talk to the model vendor directly.

What this includes

  • •A fixed JSON schema for the fields you already have.
  • •Rejection of keys and values the source text does not support.
  • •A provider you can swap: Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini.
  • •Logs that do not keep the raw patient text.

What you leave with

  • •Structured fields instead of a second typing pass.
  • •A failure mode that is “empty field”, not a made-up dose.
  • •One endpoint your app can call.

How it starts

You send ten real examples and the fields you need. I return the schema and a slice you can run against those examples before we wire it in.

When to use it

Use this when someone on your team is retyping notes, sorting an inbox, or copying documents into forms.

Ways to work together

01

Join your team

A senior engineer inside your team. I work in your codebase, standups and code reviews, and stay long enough to own a real part of the product. Under the hood: Laravel, Node.js, Python or AWS.

Full-time or long contract
02

Work solely for your company

A dedicated engineer for one company. I take the product from planning to the live version: backend, data, hosting and screens, with your product as my focus.

Dedicated contract
03

One project

A clearly defined build, then a clean handover: an MVP, taking an AI-built prototype (Lovable, Bolt, Cursor) to production, a migration, or an AI feature. Get in touch to discuss scope and pricing.
