Product interfaces

Interfaces people sit in all day: lists, forms, filters, and clear messages for the moments when data is slow or missing.

I have shipped Angular and Vue against Laravel APIs for healthcare, rentals, food ordering, and internal CRMs. React and TypeScript when the product is new and does not already have a framework.

The interface is not a coat of paint. Filters have to match the query the API can actually run. A role that cannot see a record should not get a button that 403s. Empty states are part of the work.

If the design is a Figma file, I implement it. If it is a sketch and a sentence, I still ship a usable screen and we tighten it from real use.

What this includes

  • •Angular or Vue for existing enterprise apps, React and TypeScript when the product is new.
  • •Tables, filters, and forms that match the API instead of a static mock.
  • •Auth-aware navigation so each role sees only what they should.
  • •Loading, empty, and error states so the UI does not look finished only in the happy path.
  • •Tailwind or the design system you already have, not a second visual language.

What you leave with

  • •A workflow a non-engineer can complete without a walkthrough.
  • •Fewer “it works on my machine” screens, because they call the real API.
  • •A front end the next developer can extend without rewriting the layout.

How it starts

I pair with the API, or build both. The first screen is a real workflow, not a component gallery.

When to use it

Use this when the backend works but the product still feels like a prototype, or when an internal tool is still a spreadsheet.

Ways to work together

01

Join your team

A senior engineer inside your team. I work in your codebase, standups and code reviews, and stay long enough to own a real part of the product. Under the hood: Laravel, Node.js, Python or AWS.

Full-time or long contract
02

Work solely for your company

A dedicated engineer for one company. I take the product from planning to the live version: backend, data, hosting and screens, with your product as my focus.

Dedicated contract
03

One project

A clearly defined build, then a clean handover: an MVP, taking an AI-built prototype (Lovable, Bolt, Cursor) to production, a migration, or an AI feature. Get in touch to discuss scope and pricing.
